I met Dean Haglund!
Last night I went to Rumour's Comedy Club here in Winnipeg, Manitoba with some friends because Dean Haglund was the headliner! I remember my good friend lsugaralmond talking about a show he did in London a few months ago and how great it was, so I dropped my original Saturday night plans and went (because hello, getting to see someone from XF in Winnipeg?? Very rare indeed!!).

To sum it up, it was a GREAT show! I wasn't sure what to expect since it's not like he's overly funny on XF. But I was laughing so hard my stomach was hurting and I thought I was going to pass out from lack of oxygen. Anyone else ever go see his stand up/improv act?? It's a lot like Whose Line is it Anyway?: The X-Files Edition. :D And I had totally forgotten that he's from the Winnipeg area! (how did I forget that!). So it was really great hearing him joke about the city.

After the show,, I saw him off to the side talking with some people and I told my friend that I needed to go meet him. It was a really tiny club and he had been walking around/sitting not too far from us when the opening act was on. So we walked up to him and he was SUPER nice and we got a picture with him!

Apparently he's here till the 12th doing shows and I really want to go see him again! He's hilarious!
